Activity Spotlight: Stages Theatre Company đ
Stages Theatre Companyâs summer theatre workshops are designed as âpick-your-weekâ theatre camps for ages 3 through Grade 12, and taught by professional teaching artists, with a big emphasis on kids getting to sing, dance, act, play, and build confidence while making friends. The summer menu includes everything from Mini Workshops for ages 3â4 to full-day and half-day options for older kids that use Stagesâ âActor Toolsâ (body, voice, imagination) in themed sessions.
A standout within their summer lineup is C.A.S.T. Summer Showtime, an extension of Stagesâ year-round C.A.S.T. (Creative, Accepting, Sensory-Friendly Theatre) program for youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other sensory sensitivities.

Whatâs New This Week đ°
Why Camp Relationships are Important for Social & Emotional Learning: Children spend a good chunk of the most impressionable part of their lives at camp. This gives camps the great responsibility of guiding campers and helping them grow into the adults of tomorrow. The people they meet there will impact them, especially in their emotional and social development.
Theater Camp Roundup (Boston, NYC, and the Twin Cities): Searching for a theater camp? Hereâs what to expect, which kids thrive, and a roundup of standout theater camps in greater Boston, NYC, and the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

What Weâre Working On đŒïžđ±
Behind the scenes, weâre also ramping up the pace of our Instagram Camp Feature Spotlights while families are deep in the summer registration scramble. Over the next few weeks, youâll see more camps popping up in your feed, each one vetted and highlighted to help parents quickly understand what makes it special. If youâre still narrowing down your options (or just love seeing whatâs out there), itâs a great time to follow along on Instagram for a steady stream of ideas and inspiration!
